£500 Business Boost Competition terms & conditions
1. Eligibility to enter. The Countingup £500 Business Boost Instagram Competition (”the Competition”) is open to small business owners in the UK who are aged 18 or over, and:
1.1. follow @Countinguphq on Instagram.
1.2. have tagged a minimum of 3 other small businesses in the Competition post comments.
1.3. have completed the above entry requirements before 11.59pm on Wednesday 30th April 2025. Entries after this time will not be considered.
1.4. are not staff members or relatives of Counting Ltd.
Private individuals and/or customers who don’t meet the above eligibility criteria do not qualify for the Competition.
2. Prizes. One winner will win a prize of £500 added directly to their Countingup business current account.
2.1. The £500 will be deposited into the winner’s Countingup business current account within 60 days of account verification and approval.
2.2. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
3. The winners. The Competition winner will be selected at random from all valid entries and contacted via Instagram before Wednesday 7th May 2025.
3.1. The winner must have an active Countingup business current account. If they are not a customer, they must successfully apply for and open an account within 30 days of being notified of their win to receive the £500 prize.
3.2. If the winner fails to open a Countingup account within the specified timeframe or is ineligible for an account based on Countingup’s standard account opening criteria, an alternative winner will be selected at random and contacted using the same method above.
3.3. The winner’s account must be in good standing (for example, not under investigation or suspended) and must be trading.
3.4. The winner is responsible for paying taxes or deductions (if any) due on the prize(s).
3.5. The promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and may request proof of business ownership and identity.
4. General.
4.1. Please retain a copy of these terms and conditions for your records. Countingup reserves the right to modify or withdraw this Competition at any time.
4.2. By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4.3. All personal information shall be used in accordance with Countingup’s Privacy Policy.
4.4. Countingup reserves the right to disqualify from the Competition any entrant suspected of fraud or cheating, including without limitation, fraudulently falsifying data or acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of Countingup.
4.5. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
5. Limitation of liability. Countingup does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the Competition or winning the Competition, save that Countingup does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.
Countingup does not provide any form of practical or IT support for this Competition.
